Corporate Identity Class visits Lee Designs

On Tuesday, August 25th, the Corporate Identity class visited Lee Designs in Fort Myers. Lee Designs is a sign design, construct and installation company of approximately 15 employees. The class had an opportunity to discuss the computer designs with their art director, meet the owner, and tour the facility. Students learned the challenges of designing with type for logos/signage when it pertains to sign construction and installation. They had the opportunity to see the equipment and artisans at work on both aluminum, neon, and foam construction. What a day to be a designer. Graphic Design is a very broad field and many students were not aware of all of the possibilities as a professional designer. Thank you, Lee Designs.
